It's Only Brobaganda!

Ah yes, Choueifat has resorted to a new low. To those of you in the school, you might notice that right now, posters of Mr.G's badly thought up quotes are now plastered all over the admin and especially the primary areas. They include such memorable anti intellectualism such as "the only way for evil to prevail is for the good to do nothing" or my personal favourite because of just how funny it is "Always do the opposite of what your enemy wants you to do". We all know that Mr.G's sense of right and wrong clearly leaves some ethical and moral issues to be questioned. And the last part is clearly one of the worst tactics that can be brought to mind. I find it funny how they don't post any of this in the secondary or senior areas. Have they given up on trying to convince us that they're right? have they now decided to go on to the possible more impressionable little ones? Just think of it, 10 years from now, if the school were to succeed they would have an army of Choueifatis. All spineless, dull, repetitive little drones who actually believe that listening and believing people like Mr.G can cause you to function in normal human society. Thankfully some of the lovely children have taken the liberty of ripping them up. YAY!

Oh, and in response to a certain comment left by anonymous that begins with "Hello K." reread your post and have the word hypocrite spelled out clearly in your mind and think real hard. BTW, since you obviously don't get the point of my anonymity. I recommend that you yourself commit some form of self castration for humanity's sake. Cheers!

So it's been over a year now...

Well, ladies and gentlemen, it's me again...

Just over a year ago, I created this site to let me vent out my thoughts on Choueifati ideology. I created it to let the world know what is really happening behind the scenes of "one of the premier schools of the Middle East". I created it to explain how ridiculous the mores of our schools were, and how we were deprived of any creativity or art.

Well, a year and a bit later, I'm now happily living in xxxxxx and I couldn't be feeling much better. Life is much less stressful, even though I'm working full time. I've gotten back to my music, my sport and I really don't have much to thank Choueifat for.

I mean, I had some awesome friends through my years and I really don't like complaining about anything, but the issues in Choueifat really needed to be thoroughly addressed. That doesn't mean that we should whine and bitch about every single flaw in the school, because obviously, no school is perfect, but we need to make a point so as to stop as many problems as we can. The first step is of course to inform everyone, inside and outside of the school, about the atrocities happening daily within our fair school.

Which brings me to my next point... Don't believe anything that the administration tells you in regards to your education. We are supposed to be the intellectual "elite", but you will all see when you hit university that there will ALWAYS be a smarter crowd. Apparently, all we learnt in Choueifat and all the art we sacrificed was in vain, because I really don't feel any smarter than my peers.

In fact, I feel like I missed out on too much in high school. I've gotten over it, but I really do think that the school needs a total reform. I guess it doesn't really matter though... With all the lawsuits going on and the higher-up exploits being uncovered, I don't think we should worry about the future of the school, because there probably won't be one.

Thanks for reading.

Be Young and Shut Up

I am seething with rage. In the comments section of the "Freedom of Speech NOW!" post. Some senseless stooge wrote this.

i think its all fine and dandy that u guys may agree with what has been written about choueifat on Wikipedia, however, have u considered the consequences of the idiot tht decided to tarnish the name of our school on a famous website tht uni's would probably visit ?their bound to find the wikipedia page while looking through the very first few links of google...and it wont do the graduatin students any good ,will it now? mmm... :) i thought so.

I find it ridiculous that this moron thinks that this half arsed comment of his will suddenly make me change my ways. And how it calls me the idiot and how it refers to "our" school. Now you listen to me you imbecile, you and your SABIS cronies don't have the common sense that God almighty gave a goose. At least I've chosen to say something about your ridiculous system of education, which commits nothing short of psychological murder. Just because I have the brains left to know how to commit myself to critical and constructive thinking and tell the basic difference between right and wrong, doesn't make me an idiot. In fact I think universities want that in a prospective student, someone who breaks down and analyses certain facets of what he or she is into. Save yourself you twat. Notice how IT says "I thought so" with a stupid little sarcastic smile. As In he thinks that I suddenly had an epiphany from his comment and that I will now suddenly decide to obey SABIS law just so I can get into university. If I find out that its some stooge I know then I suggest you get on your knees and start praying for some sort of divine intervention. phew! ok I'm calm now. Thankfully, someone else had this to say in response.
Do you really think that it matter a University Admin department what is posted on Wikipedia? I can tell you as University recruiter I always look up the student's name on myspace and similar web pages. I understand that international students who attend private International schools often have little say in where they attend. What I do look for is the student’s academic potential, adaptability and critical thinking skills. I also am interested in the student’s emotional intelligence level. If Chouifat does not crush that out of a student, than I am pretty sure the individual will likely be able to adapt and handle whatever comes their way. I get suspicious of students who have prefect records. It represents a student who has never challenged authority. A student who has NEVER taken a risk to stand up for what they believe. It is part of normal adolescent behavior to challenge those they view in a position of power. It is normal adolescent behavior to assert independent thoughts and desire. If these things do not occur, if there is no history, then how do I know that the student is capable of independent thought and drive at the university level? Most of what I have seen discussed here, from Mr Psychoman’s ramblings to the policies and procedure will not benefit a student at the university setting or in professional workforce.
oh btw, Eid Mubarak everyone ^_^

Not In A Million Years!

Active discipline: Pupils must also be trained to stop antisocial behavior in other pupils. One student must have the courage to stop another who may be cheating in an exam, littering, using bad language and vandalizing, and to report offenders who refuse to listen. It is important for us to help students to differentiate between 'tale-telling' and social responsibility. A socially responsible person fights corruption at the risk of retaliation and retribution by the offenders, and he should be supported and encouraged - SABIS
Let me tell you this now since its obviously going to come as a huge shock. Students do not do that! they don't! please do not overrate the actual meaning of ratting someone out. There is no hero factor towards reporting someone to the admin for cheating or swearing, etc. Do not think that those who do tattle tale deserve to have halo's around their head or that they will grow up to be model citizens, most likely lost in obscurity, growing old and dying. We don't litter now because it most cases we didn't anyways or because Al Gore showed us why not to. We know when to swear and when not to swear, we are NOT that impressionable. We will not report cheating because in your case, putting someone in trouble for cheating is blatant hypocrisy. And I loath hypocrisy. And we as students believe that you and your beloved exams are full of shit. Writing on tables or bathroom walls is not vandalism, it is High School. Most of us don't resort to vandalism anyways because were to sick and disgusted to even touch the cheap stucco you build thses schools on even their prison cell like classrooms. And to the students, I understand if you might have problems with some of the cases mentioned above, but if you see someone littering or cheating and don't like it do you really have to go see Big Dipper? No matter what the school wants you to believe, that is gutless. Deal with it yourself and if that doesnt work. Then you know what to do. We do not like you, SABIS. Your rules and blatant disregard for humanity, free thought and free will have left us with no choice but to tell you that the rules don't matter to us anymore. Because, It is us against you.

Lies, Glorious Lies.

I know it has been a while. But is it just me or does something seem terribly wrong with this blog? Can someone comment about the layout. Because from where I'm looking at it, things don't look too well.

Oh, the whole "suspending students with Facebook" Scenario. Apparently the students were suspended for joining a group against a very draconian, and terribly misinformed administrator. And a little brat by the name of, oh let's call him Ronin, ratted out on all of them. Now I know I'm not the type of person to advocate violence against a single person but for goodness sake. You're in Gr. 9 and you are still a snitch. Someone needs to teach you the rules of the playground AGAIN! This whole fiasco came up in the nearly daily 7 Days tabloid, and I assure you Choueifat did their best to heavily censor and butcher the truth. They were NOT taken for an hour to be talked too. To those of you who have been in the system for god knows how long, you would definitely know what happened.

Oh by the way. I thought this video represented advising lessons perfectly.

One by One

It seems that the school is now suspending students who write stuff against Choueifat and the SABIS system on the Internet. I was witness to a legion of lard walking around suspending those who have Facebook profiles. It's bad enough we're already in that hellhole, but now they expect us to love it? This reminds me of a certain factor of the book Nineteen Eighty Four, the Ingsoc government would rewrite history to make themselves look always superior and always right, and those who proved otherwise were brainwashed and then disappeared. Sounds somewhat familiar. Apparently the school refuses to admit when it has committed wrongs or discuss them. You know, I'm just hoping someone finds out who I am. after extensive research into the legal system. If I were to be suspended or expelled, then I would file a lawsuit for psychological damages, and then I would also get some of the other students to support so that it would seem more like a group instead of an individual. And after looking through some of the other cases, looking at all the monkeys SABIS hires including what they do in their defense, this might be allot of fun. And think of the high profile surrounding this, this would cause irreparable damage to the school. (sigh) but alas, one can only dream :)
